Well, okay, I know this was already covered...but, a friend at the show sent me the ready to play sbd CDs that were available IMMEDIATELY after the show, and I have to tell you that this sounds much better than I thought. I know we already went over it and over it again, and then once more, so sorry for the repetition...but, I think that this Warren fellow does an outstanding job...and though at times I do feel like it's a DEAD cover band, I can entirely see getting into it in a big way if I were there.

I think I said it before, but for many songs, esp Cassady and Sugaree, I feel as if it sounds almost as good as when I last saw them in 81-82...seriously. I know many of you 80s fans could point me to a show that would put this one to shame, but I have to admit, hearing this, OVER the AUDs I sampled, is a huge, huge improvement...

I think you are forgiven Jgl.

I never thought I would see the day. LOL Glad to hear the boys are at it again, I won't have the pleasure of seeing them this time around but I AM STOKED for two nights of MOE and Ratdog in ATL!!!! I am hoping Jeff and Bob carry that energy and tightness into Ratdog.

Good to see most people are enjoying the Dead. I don't think this current line-up has a choice of whether or not to be good pretty much every night out. Their basically in the hot seat among Deadheads. The Grateful Dead could half-ass it on many nights, and never worry about how it may affect the next show or tour or everyone's opinion. If these guys felt like they couldn't make it interesting every night, they wouldn't be on tour at all.

Somebody call a doctor.

I think Tell may have "swine flu", he's obviously feverish.

That, or he has be replaced by a pod Tell.

Hey B--get this: the wife comes in, listens for a minute, and says "you don't REALLY like this do you?" (she had started sorta dancin)...the friend that sent the disks sent HER a tshirt...

Well, I said, it sounds about like when we went last...and she agreed...

And I thought she totally bought into 68! Damn.

I gotta admit the farther they get into this tour, the better they are sounding. It seems that Jeff and Warren are settling in nicely into their roles and all the pieces are now fitting together well. Not perfection, but then "The Boys" were never perfect.

I was there. It was that good. The Sugaree Chimenti solo was worth going for. He's gone was outstanding. I could go on but I won't. You have to go.

By the way, Sirius is broadcasting tonight....so far Saturday Night opener
Brown eyed woman
Good Morning Little School Girl
Althea

They sound as good as they did last sat night...Its sounds like they are about to let Chimenti go again so I gotta go...this space is getting hot...you know this space is getting hot...Warren on vocals
